I bought this rod as a backup to a Douglas 8' 3 wt 6pc for Smoky Mountains brook trout fishing. Pairs perfectly with a Hardy Flyweight and a Cortland Peach DT2. Really nice loops out to 35-40 ft. Quality of cork is excellent. Unsanded glass blank actually resembles the Scott F series (at 25% of the cost...) The second tip is great for backpacking. This is a great rod for small stream/ dry fly addicts! Charlie Kennedy

This rod is superb. It feels like an extension of my index finger! It is far more comfortable to cast than a high priced Orvis I often use to stream fish for both trout and smallmouth. I enjoy the way it loads up.
I plan to get a 5wt soon!
